Diagnosing and remediating learning problems experienced by children in the school system

Assessing and offering guidance to gifted and talented learners.

Providing school-based evaluation of children demonstrating learning challenges.

Conducting/facilitating research in Special Education.

Providing short to medium term remedial intervention programs for students.

Providing public education on disability issues and special education services.

Providing professional development opportunities for classroom teachers at the primary and secondary level.

Facilitating clinical practice for tertiary students in special education and related disciplines.

Developing quality, culturally relevant diagnostic assessment instruments to meet the needs of the English-speaking Caribbean.
